This steel type can be readily strengthened through cold deformation, enhancing its strength and hardness while retaining ample plasticity and toughness. Primarily utilized in the cold working state to reduce equipment weight and prevent rusting, 301 stainless steel bars exhibit work hardening when subjected to external forces, enabling them to absorb more impact energy and provide reliable safety protection for equipment and personnel. However, it’s important to note that 301 stainless steel bars offer less superior corrosion resistance in chemical media such as acid, alkali, and salt, making them unsuitable for use in harsh corrosive environments.
