A36/Q235/S235JR Carbon Steel Coil description
A36 steel coil primarily consists of iron, carbon, silicon, manganese, phosphorus, sulfur, and other elements. Iron is the predominant component, accounting for over 99% of the entire chemical composition. With a relatively high carbon content of around 0.2%, the steel exhibits a certain level of hardness and toughness. The addition of silicon, manganese, and other elements serves to enhance the strength and toughness of the steel. Meanwhile, the low content of elements such as phosphorus and sulfur ensures that the steel coil possesses good welding performance and corrosion resistance. A36 steel coil boasts excellent mechanical properties, with higher tensile strength, yield strength, elongation, and impact toughness compared to ordinary steel.
