API Spec 5L is a global standard that outlines the manufacturing criteria for two product specification grades (PSL 1 and PSL 2) of seamless and welded steel pipes utilized in pipeline transportation systems within the oil and gas industry.

The carbon steel square tube is a steel pipe with a square cross-section, primarily consisting of elements such as carbon, manganese, silicon, phosphorus, sulfur, and others. DIN 1629 seamless steel pipes consist of three primary grades: St37.0, St44.0, and St52.0. Typically, the DIN 1629 standard does not impose restrictions on the working pressure value, while the working temperature is limited to below 300°C.

Hot Rolled Steel A36 (ASTM A36) is one of the most widely accessible grades of hot-rolled steel, offering favorable overall mechanical properties, ease of fabrication, and the ability to be formed when hot or cold. The hot rolling process results in a rougher surface compared to cold-rolled steel. Additionally, the yield strength of ASTM A36 is lower than that of C1018.

ASTM A202 grade is classified into two grades: A and B, and is primarily employed for welding boilers and other pressure vessels. The ASTM A202 boiler vessel steel includes Grade A and Grade B, with the thickness of the boiler vessel plates restricted to 2 inches.

A203 pressure vessel steel plate utilizes nickel alloy steel material for the production of high-temperature pressure vessels. The performance of ASTM A203 boiler vessel plates is contingent on their nickel composition.
