    301 stainless steel is a metastable austenitic stainless steel that exhibits a complete austenitic structure under full solid solution conditions. Among stainless steels, 301 is the most easily strengthened by cold deformation. Cold deformation processing can enhance the steel’s strength and hardness while retaining sufficient plasticity and toughness. Additionally, this steel demonstrates good rust resistance under atmospheric conditions. It is primarily used in the cold working state for equipment parts that can withstand higher loads, reduce equipment weight, and resist rust. Furthermore, this steel is prone to work hardening when subjected to external forces, enabling it to absorb more impact energy and provide reliable safety protection for equipment and personnel.
