    310S stainless steel, an austenitic chromium-nickel stainless steel, is recognized for its excellent oxidation resistance, corrosion resistance, and resistance to acids and alkalis due to its high nickel (Ni) and chromium (Cr) content. The increased carbon content in austenitic stainless steel enhances its strength through solid solution strengthening. The chemical composition of austenitic stainless steel is characterized by the addition of molybdenum, tungsten, niobium, and titanium to chromium and nickel. Its face-centered cubic structure provides high strength and creep strength at elevated temperatures. 310S stainless steel is commonly utilized in the manufacturing of boilers, steam turbines, industrial furnaces, as well as in the aviation, petrochemical, and other industries.
