Huai'an East Station

Huai’an East Station is strategically located in the heart of the High-speed Railway New City in Huai’an City, Jiangsu Province. This station serves as a national railway passenger transportation hub, connecting several major railways, including the Lianyungang-Huai’an-Yangzhou Railway, Xuzhou-Suqian-Huaian-Yancheng Railway, Ningbo-Huai’an Intercity Railway, Huai’an-Bengbu High-speed Railway, and the second line of the Beijing-Shanghai High-speed Railway (Huai’an section). The comprehensive passenger transportation hub project encompasses various components, such as the station square, ramp bridges, subway systems, and municipal roads. Notably, the deep foundation pit for the station square features three underground levels, covering approximately 57,000 square meters. The excavation area of the foundation pit spans about 59,000 square meters, with a maximum excavation depth of 15.9 meters and a partial depth of 18.9 meters, making it the largest deep foundation pit currently under construction in the East China region.
