The Yadavaran Oilfield is situated west of Ahvaz, the capital of Khuzestan Province in southern Iran, near the Iran-Iraq border. Spanning an area of 675 square kilometers, it is estimated to hold 118 billion barrels of crude oil and 85.5 billion cubic meters of natural gas. Recognized as the largest untapped oil field in Iran, Yadavaran is also considered one of the largest oil fields globally, highlighting its significant potential in the energy sector.
