    2205 Duplex stainless steel bars exhibit more than double the yield strength of ordinary austenitic stainless steel, while also possessing sufficient plastic toughness for molding. Additionally, they offer good local corrosion resistance and, compared to austenitic stainless steel with similar alloy content, demonstrate superior wear corrosion resistance and fatigue corrosion performance. Under both dynamic and static load conditions, 2205 duplex stainless steel bars have a higher energy absorption capacity than austenitic stainless steel, making them advantageous for structural parts in coping with emergencies such as collisions and explosions.
